Beautiful attractions in Phang Nga
Phang Nga is a both a coastal province on the Andaman Sea with scenic forests and islands. The province offers superb natural beauty both onshore and underwater. Phang Nga is also the name of the city that serves as the provincial capital.
Phang Nga was originally inhabited by small communities and named Kraphu-nga. During the reign of King Rama II, nearby areas (including Thalung, now known as Phuket) were occupied by the Burmese and so many people fled to Kraphu-nga. In 1824, Siamese troops defeated the Burmese and the invaders were expelled. King Rama III renamed the area Phang Nga and in 1933 the town was expanded to be a province.
Phang Nga have many beautiful attractions with nature. The climate of Phang Nga is green season or rainy season on May to October, and the holiday vacation is December till April.

- Ao Phang Nga (Phang Nga Bay) is located between Phuket, PHang Nga and Krabi. Most visitors explore the area in one day trip with tour guide. This is one of the most beautiful bays of Thailand, and also famous for its gravity-defying limestone formations (James Bond Island).
- Koh Panyi (Panyi Island) a Muslim fishing village on stilts.
- Similan Islands National Park (Koh Similan National Park) are located just 84 kilometers northwest of the bustling crowds of Phuket. Similan Islands is one of the best-known island groups in the Andaman Sea, largely because of the wonders that wait beneath the clear blue waters that surround it. Each of the Similan Islands has a number as well as a name. There are Koh Ba Ngu (No.9), Similan (No.8), Payu (No.7), Miang (No.4, No.5, and No.6), Payan (No.3), Payang (No.2), and Hu Yong (No.1).
- Phra Thong Island (Koh Phra Thong) A large island northwest of Phang Nga. The island has many beaches. There is a large fresh water reservoir on the island.
- Khao Lak is located on the north of Phuket just 80 kilometers, Khao Lak was essentially erased by the 2004 tsunami. From Khao Lak to Khok Kloy district has many secluded beaches are including:
- Khao Lak Beach, south of the headland marking the southern boundary of the region
- Nang Thong Beach, in the village of the village of Bang La On
- Na Tai Beach is a quiet beach area, which is ideal for relaxing. Enjoy long walks on a pristine beach, beautiful sunsets on the horizon and easy access to Phuket International Airport, Luxury Villas, popular sites and convenient shopping areas.

- Thai Mueang Beach is a long beach where the Sea turtle festival is held annually
- Wat Suwannakhuha (Suwannakhuha temple) It is of historical and archaeological importance, located in Krasom district, Phang Nga. It is of historical and archaeological importance. Within the boundary of the temple is a moutain with numerous caves out of which one is also used as a temple and houses various manners of Buddha images. There are also Royal Monograms inscriptions on the walls of the cave.
- Rat Uppatham temple or Bang Riang temple is located on Khao Lan mountain in Thap Put district, Phang Nga. It features a seated golden Buddha image, a large statue of Kwam Im, the Chinese goddess of mercy and fine Thai temple architecture.
- Kainui Mountain that has cool weather and is surrounded by the sea of mist all year round. In good weather, the Andaman Sea is visible from the summit.
